Adam Parrelli – Sports Chiropractor
I’m Adam, one of the sports chiropractors at KC.
With a keen interest for all kinds of sports and exercise. From footy (particularly soccer) to CrossFit, I developed a longing to understand the human body. How it functioned, how it was put together and most importantly how to make it better.
Moreover, I wanted to use that knowledge to help people.
My sports and training background meant I spent a lot of time on the treatment table and the rehab floor. I am truly grateful for all the chiropractors and physiotherapists I dealt with, how they helped me to get back on my feet and continue to do what I love. Through their different skill sets and expertise, I knew how to manage all the niggles and injuries. Being in the know, gave me more confidence to get through these troublesome times. That is what inspired me to pursue a career in sports chiropractic. I knew it was the perfect fit for me to help others, the way in which they all helped me.
Over the past 5 years I have been practicing as a sports chiropractor. I love what I do! The main reason for why I do what I do is to help people and create a positive change in their day or lives.
I am excited to be apart of this amazing team at KC. The team has taught me so much, and I continue to learn so much from this amazing group. My main focus within The Sports Chiropractor is to educate and empower each individual that presents to the practice and the community abroad. The way I achieve this is through manual therapy, rehabilitation and community talks.
I am very passionate about moving my skills forward, broadening my expertise and looking for new and better ways to help patients. From getting patients out of pain, helping them move better and feel stronger. I volunteered apart of the RockTape Australia and the athlete services team in the 2018 CrossFit Games Pacific Regionals. Working with and providing treatment to the individual and team athletes respectively was a truly wonderful experience in my career to date.
Since completing a Masters in Chiropractic I’ve also broadened my areas of interest by completing several other courses.
